So gather your friends and enjoy a four-day festival filled with tasty meals, celebrity chefs, competitions and music. Entertainment
The 2019’s line-up for performances is out now! The entertainment is known as referred to as “Eastlink Kitchen Party” and is featuring lots of exciting performers. For instance, the main stage of the festival will have Signal Hill, The Love Junkies, Big Bad Party Band and Vintage 4.0 and many more performing. Culinary Competitions
Lots of lively competitions coming up in this year’s festival. So get ready to cook and compete for prizes ranging from $100 to $10000! Whether you are a professional chef or a rookie, these competitions are fun to participate in. Mott’s Clamato “Best Caesar in Town” competition

For 2019, the festival kicks off with a fun competition. The “best caesar in town” competition held on Sept 19th is your chance to show off your Caesar making skills to the professional chef Christopher Cho and win $1000 worth of prizes! What’s more, you will get a chance to learn how Christopher’s infamous Caesar salad is made in person.
Junior Chef Challenge

Presented by Dairy Farmers of Canada, the Junior Chef Challenge is a fun competition for juniors. A perfect chance for talented youth to display their culinary skills openly. Moreover, with a prize pool of $1000 this live-action competition allows youth aged 9-11 to transform ingredients into a delicious culinary creation.
Garland Canada International Chef Challenge
The high stake culinary competition of a lifetime is coming back to the shellfish festival! Professional chefs will compete against each other for a chance to win $10000. The audience can expect lots of high-pressure cooking as two finalists out of 12 chefs go head to head!

Since this is a well-known food festival you can expect enormous amounts of yummy seafood lined up ready to go! Starting off with the famous Shellfish Pavillion featuring some of the world’s best shellfish. Try out the fresh oysters, mussels or the lobster roll all from PEI’s waters. Next, the Feast & Frolic will explode your taste buds with their award-winning potato chowder and certified island beef samples. Moreover, you will be able to meet the Food Network Chef Michael Smith alongside Chef Irwin MacKinnon, national chef of the year! A variety of other infamous restaurants will also be there such as Annand Clams, Gallant’s Shellfish & Seafood, etc. to feature their tasty dishes.
