Dinosaur lovers’ top destination is the Royal Tyrrell Museum. In fact, the Royal Tyrrell Museum features one of the world’s largest displays of full dinosaur skeletons! Moreover, there are many fun and interactive exhibits as well as programs available for all ages. For instance, you can experience searching for real undiscovered fossils, cast your very own fossil, assemble replicas of dinosaurs and much more! Current exhibits of the museum include the infamous “Fossils in Focus” and “Dinosaur Hall” which feature some of the largest skeletons you will ever encounter. The Dinosaur Provincial Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about two and a half hours drive east of Calgary. You will be able to dig and often unearth real dinosaur bones in this park! In fact, more than 150 full dinosaur skeletons and 50 species have been found in the Dinosaur Provincial Park. Hence why this park is only accessible to the public through guided interpretive programs. There are a variety of such tours available some of which include the fossil tour, sunset tour, explorer’s bus tour and centrosaurus quarry hike. Moreover, the park offers camping spots and glamping services if you are feeling fancy!

Cretaceous Seas and Lands Exhibit
The largest marine vertebrate exhibit in Calgary featuring life-sized specimens of extinct dinosaurs, marine reptiles and fishes of the Cretaceous period.
