The Peel Schools for International Students is a very special program where international students are the focus. The Peel Schools specially designed this program to be able to support international students and their needs. Because of this, students can work better towards their higher education in the future. Furthermore, student success is very important to these schools. So, they look to a student’s individual strengths, goals, and interests and tailor their education to develop these. So, when students graduate, many end up going to top schools not just in Canada, but all over the world.

But the four Peel Schools for International Students are in Mississauga and Brampton, Ontario. These are Applewood Heights Secondary, Clarkson Secondary, Rick Hansen Secondary, and Harold M. Brathwaite Secondary.

Post-Secondary Schools and Partnerships

Thanks to the emphasis on student success, students who graduate from the Peel Schools for International Students go on to post-secondary education. Many students go to top post-secondary institutions in Canada and around the world. But, among the notable partnerships of Peel Schools are the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College. Students in grades 11 and 12 can take part in mentoring programs, workshops, and campus visits to these schools. Furthermore, these activities will better prepare them for their post-secondary studies.

How to Apply to Peel Schools

Applicants can click here to begin their application. Documents must be translated into English before submitting them. Additionally, TOEFL, IELTS, or any other language tests are not a requirement. But students will have to take an English and math assessment when they arrive in Canada. This is to ensure students are in the appropriate English and math courses.

The Peel Schools for International Students have been instrumental in the success of international students in Canada.
