Blyth Academy is a well-known private school with institutions across Ontario as well as one in the United States. They offer both in-person and online instruction, the online courses likely to be a great option for international students who cannot travel to Canada at this time due to COVID19. Further, these online courses can better suit students who prefer to spend less time getting to school and more time on extracurriculars. Some of the courses students can take include ESL and a variety of mathematics courses.

About Blyth Academy

Blyth Academy has several private schools distributed across Ontario, and recently one school in Washington as well. All schools offer personalized education, including both online and in-person classes. This variety and number of schools are what make Blyth Academy Canada’s largest private school by enrollment.

Programming at Blyth Academy ranges from a comprehensive full-time program beginning in elementary in Grade 6 through to Grade 12. They also provide semi-private, private, summer, and night school classes for students as well. Blyth students can delve more deeply into their subjects and manage their academic workload more effectively. Classes are longer to provide time to review lessons. This is similar to assignments that are in-depth and promote individual attention in each class consistently. Finally, an outstanding feature of the programming at Blyth Academy is that homework assignments are more evenly balanced, so students don’t have an excessive amount of work due at once.

BAO Program

The Blyth Academy Online program offers a number of courses necessary for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). These online courses are a great advantage to students who currently can’t come to Ontario to study, especially in light of COVID19.

The online courses created and taught by BAO are comprehensive, rigorous, engaging and expertly taught. Experiential education even remains a part of these online courses. Students apply course material to their environment and life by applying concepts to real-world examples. Additionally, BAO provides options to help students be most successful by incorporating different learning styles into their teaching. Lastly, expert teachers ensure students are remaining on top of their work and succeeding by providing rubrics, personal feedback, and offer office hours for personal help via video chat. Students are also free to email their teachers when necessary.
