How to have fun during the Ontario April Lockdown

The Ontario Government has announced a 28 day province wide shutdown effective April 3rd, in effort to curb a stake in Covid cases. Beyond sitting at home and watching Netflix, here are some fun things you are allowed to safely do.

Get outdoors!

You may still go for walks and bike rides in parks nearby your home, as well as many outdoor sporting activities. Better yet, you can still gather with a maximum of 5 people outdoors. Just be safe, and be sure to keep physical distance! So bundle up, get outside and enjoy the beauty of spring.

Go Shopping

The malls are open! Running at 25 percent capacity, shopping malls will remain open. Physical distancing is to be maintained. Get your “personal bubble” on, and check out the latest trends.

Yummy Food

Restaurants may be closed for indoor dining, but you can still enjoy a tasty takeout, delivery, or drive-thru of your favourite local munch. Make supporting local business the cherry-on-top of this stop at flavour town.

Stay safe, and have fun!

Stay safe and enjoy the start of spring with these fun activities. Spread the (virtual) love for your community by staying close to home. We’ll get through this together!
