
University Canada West offers entrance awards, scholarships and grants to new students applying to an undergraduate or graduate program. If students are eligible for any of those awards or grants, they will receive only one of them. Awards will be applied to the tuition fee on a prorated basis throughout the duration of the program until the student receives the full awarded amount. Some of the courses are not eligible for award, scholarship, or grant tuition disbursements – New Student Orientation, ENGL 080, and any repeated courses.
Following are the international student awards that are automatically awarded, without the need for a scholarship application.
- Pathway to Knowledge Bursary
Applicable programs: Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication.
An international student who meets the eligibility criteria of this scholarship is eligible for a tuition reduction worth 30 credits toward the final 30 credits of their BA or BCom degree.
Eligibility:
- Be enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce, or Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication degree program in the Summer or Fall 2021 terms.
- Have a GPA of 2.33 (C+) or higher
In the event of no other scholarship applications, this bursary will be automatically offered to the students.
- Second Language Excellence Scholarship
Applicable programs: MBA, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, Associate of Arts
Eligibility: International students with an Academic IELTS overall score of 7.0 and a minimum 6.5 in all bands (or equivalent) are eligible for these scholarships. Upon admission to UCW, the scholarships are automatically applied.

- Scholarships for Academic Excellence
Applicable Programs: MBA, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, Associate of Arts
Eligibility: Students with excellent academic grades who wish to excel in their chosen fields of study and work are eligible for these scholarships.

- Americas Tuition

Eligibility: North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean students will be eligible for Americas Tuition.
Those who qualify for Americas Tuition can take University Access Program courses for $2,750 per course.

Eligibility: This entrance award is open to international students from Mauritius, Morocco, Mongolia, South Korea, Turkey. To be eligible for this award, students must start their studies at UCW before the end of the Fall (October) 2021 term, value is upto $5000.
- Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Regional Grant
Applicable programs: MBA, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, Associate of Arts
Eligibility: This grant is open for international students from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine.

Students who demonstrate academic excellence in their MBA courses are eligible for this scholarship. Students who have received an entrance scholarship also are eligible to receive another scholarship under this category.

- MBA Foundation Study Grant

It is awarded to students who have demonstrated leadership potential and are dedicated to their chosen field.
Eligibility:
- Submit the scholarship application form while applying to UCW
- Submit a personal statement how MBA or MBA Foundation programs will impact your career and personal goals
- Complete the MBA Foundation program and the MBA degree program within 36 months of starting your MBA Foundation courses.
