Returning to Post-Secondary Institutions in Fall 2021: Saskatchewan Polytechnic


Saskatchewan Polytechnic is working with the Ministry of Advanced Education and all post-secondary institutions in Saskatchewan to safely reopen campus to more international students in fall 2021. Please monitor pandemic related information directly from IRCC and Government of Canada about international students and travel to Canada.

August 19, 2021 – COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

The health, safety, faculty, staff wellbeing of students are taken very seriously at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. They have been actively monitoring the pandemic situation. In terms of the recent emergence of the Delta variant, Sask Polytech requires all students, employees and even visitors on campus to be completely vaccinated against COVID-19.

Sask Polytech requires the full vaccination process.

  • The first vaccination is required and mandatory by September 17, 2021.
  • The second vaccination by October 22, 2021.

Student in an online program where they have no in-person classes are exempt from this requirement.

Prepare your return in Fall 2021 at Saskatchewan Polytechnic

Saskatchewan Polytechnic are ready and even supports International Students to get started on their learning journey. They offers many resources to help a successful return this term.

Orientation for Students

Sask Polytech has setup orientations tailoring towards the current circumstances in Canada. Orientations in various forms provides an overview about the many services Sask Polytech has to offer which eventually help succeed international students in their studies and even enhance the Sask Polytech experience.

Covid-19 Information

Sask Polytech takes measures and supports international student success. They have protocols in place for Campus Access and Safety and offer Student Support services.

Fall Program 2021 Program Status

International Students registering for the Fall 2021 intake Programs will receive an email on their Sask Polytech email account. The email consists of specific details about mode of delivery, textbooks and other course requirements.

Returning International Students with questions or concerns in relation to the program start date or delivery method should contact their program head for detailed information.
