Mother’s Day in Vancouver- 2022

Mother’s Day in Vancouver- 2022

What Is Mother’s Day?

Mother’s day is almost here, which means families should start planning a way to spoil their Mother, Grandmother, or any other female guardian in their life. There are many ways to celebrate it, whether that may be giving them a card full of love, bringing them breakfast in bed, or buying them their favourite sweets to express gratitude. Despite Mother’s Day being this weekend, we are lucky to live in Vancouver, which offers many events celebrating this holiday. It can range from many examples, and as long as it keeps your mother, or mother figure happy, there is no wrong way of celebrating it.

Treat Her Like Royalty At Home

There’s nothing wrong with having an easygoing start to a day like this. Afterall, Mother’s Day is all about spoiling the amazing lady in your life, and it doesn’t always have to mean going outside. There may also be days where the weather won’t agree with your outdoor plans due to rain, so with that in mind, families can always plan events by doing the following:

  • Cleaning the house or doing chores
  • Cooking a meal for for breakfast or brunch
  • Putting on their favourite show or movie
  • Spa treatment (Massages, Manicure, Pedicure)
  • Play some family games (Board games, Card games)

A Nice Stroll In Vancouver

We are lucky enough to live in Vancouver, where it offers many beautiful walks and hikes for you to go on. British Columbia may be full of mountains with steep hikes, but they also have a mix of beautiful and easy walks for families to walk through casually.

  • Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver
  • Lynn Canyon Loop in the North Shore
  • Deer Lake in Burnaby
  • Rice Lake in the North Shore
  • Capilano Canyon in the North Shore

Nothing will feel better than going outside enjoying the fresh air that Vancouver has to offer. It will leave you and your family refreshed, happy, and ready to do more events for the day.

Dinner ideas

Not only is Vancouver known for its gorgeous scenery, but it also offers many places to take your mom to dinner. Remember that it is your treat to her, so your Mother better not touch that bill. Take her to some amazing and affordable places, such as:

  • Tap & Barrel
  • Marutama
  • Mr Sushi
  • Browns Social House
  • Cactus Club Cafe
  • Milestones Grill and Bar

Most important of all

Although this isn’t all the events you can do in this city, many of these examples are very popular places to go to in Vancouver. Every Mother is different, so it is important to remember what she enjoys most. This isn’t about buying her the most expensive gift or food in a restaurant you can find. It is about spending time with her and making sure she knows how much she is loved and appreciated by the ones that mean most to her.

Happy Mother’s day.
