Humber College’s 2-year Business Management diploma program gets down to business and equips students with all of the necessary skills they need to be successful. Through a practical, skills-based approach, students will learn about the business scene across Canada’s cities and be able to kickstart their journey to achieving their goals. The program’s curriculum currently focuses on the essential aspects of business, emphasizing areas in marketing, e-commerce, accounting, operations management, business writing, and communication. In addition to completing individual work, students will also participate in group activities taught by industry professionals and entrepreneurs.
With employers and companies today looking for a wide variety of skills in potential candidates, the Business Management diploma program also aims to train students by simulating business-related events and getting them to participate in managing a real business. These simulations focus on analysis strategy, finance, human resources, technology and equipment, and operations.
