What are Scholarships?
Scholarships are financial aid given to eligible students to help reduce the cost of post-secondary education. It benefits the students by paying for their education, books, tuition or anything else they need for school. Semester Scholarships
To be eligible for semester scholarships, applicants must have completed at least one semester at Columbia College, and their previous semester must have completed a minimum of four UT or three Secondary courses. A GPA of 3.7 in the UT/Associate Degree Programs or 3.5 in the Secondary (High School) Program in the previous semester is required.
Annual Scholarships
Applicants must have completed at least 24 UT credits at Columbia College in the previous two to three semesters and must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.7 to be eligible for Columbia College’s annual UT scholarships (top Arts, top Science, top Business students).
Scholarships
(NEW) Columbia College Entrance Scholarship
This scholarship is aimed to provide new applicants who have excellent academic aptitude but are facing barriers to pursuing higher education. Students are selected from the places where there are significant ongoing and systemic barriers to higher education. Please note that the Entrance Scholarship Application Form for Fall 2022 will be available in May 2022.

Columbia College Academic Scholarships
In this scholarship program, the previous Semester’s academic performance will be taken into consideration. In addition, involvement in College and community activities and a personal essay will also be evaluated. A total of eight scholarships are awarded to students studying at the University Transfer or Associate Degree level. The other two scholarships, including the Gerry Brown Memorial Scholarship, are awarded to two students in the Secondary Program.

The Jason Graham Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student in the field of Social Sciences.

The John Helm Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an outstanding student in the field of Math/Sciences.
Amount: $5,000

Guard.me Scholarship for International Business Students
Awarded to an outstanding student in the field of Business.

This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student in the UT program and nominated by two instructors. Participation in College activities and dedication to studies is considered.
The Gary Swanson English Preparation Scholarship
It is awarded to the student each semester who excels in University Preparatory English class (099) or classes (Engl 098 and WD 098).

Along with the scholarships, students are recognized with various awards for motivation like classroom appreciation awards, outstanding service awards for contribution to the college community and a few more.
