Bronte College was established in 1991 as a private university in Mississauga, Ontario. Mississauga is a diverse city and has been one of the safest cities in Canada. While Bronte College is committed to providing a learning environment that emphasizes academic and personal growth, it also educates students with an open mind with qualities such as inclusivity and respect. In addition, the school offers the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) curriculum and AP courses for grade 9 to 12 students. Their students come from more than 30 countries and regions around the world. Thus, the school provides dormitories for international students. Bronte College encourages a collaborative learning environment that focuses on inquiry-based learning rather than factual memorization. Students can choose OSSD, DP, or AP courses and earn college credit upon completing their grade 12 courses.
Bronte College dedicates itself to helping students achieve their personal goals. Their teachers hold certification from the Ontario Teachers College or teacher certification from a world-renowned teacher training program. In addition, they continually participate in additional qualification courses at several prestigious universities within the GTA. Passionate about challenging students to strive for excellence, Bronte College teachers provide support beyond academics and engage in extracurricular activities that foster leadership, confidence and respect.
