SkipTheDishes
SkipTheDishes started in 2012 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where it first operated locally, then later expanded nationwide to major cities such as Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. As one of the most popular food delivery apps in Canada, SkipTheDishes partners with over 30,000 restaurants including major chains such as McDonald’s, Subway, Nando’s, Freshii, and Boston Pizza, as well as smaller, local businesses in cities, to serve its one million users across the country.

DoorDash
DoorDash is a simple, user-friendly food delivery app based out of San Francisco, California. It first started as paloaltodelivery.com, with the four founders building and running the app, taking orders and delivering the food themselves. Today, DoorDash dominates the food delivery marketplace, with the company itself and their subsidiaries earning roughly 59% of U.S. consumers’ meal delivery sales in March.
DoorDash is currently partnered with over 340,000 restaurants and serves more than 20 million active consumers in 7,000 cities across the U.S., Canada, Australia and Japan. Its app is available on Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store, as well as on other Android platforms.
