One of Canada’s oldest international non-profit colleges, Columbia College was founded in 1936. A large number of Canadian and international students have completed their qualifications at Columbia College and have gone on to achieve success in their university careers. Over the years, Columbia College sends a large number of international students to the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and Vancouver’s other major universities.
Columbia College has two campuses that are located near Main Street-Science World Station in Vancouver.
At 438 Terminal Avenue, Columbia College’s Main Campus consists of a five-story, 73,000-square-foot building just east of Vancouver’s downtown core. The closest station is Main Street Science World Station which is less than 10 minutes on foot to the Main campus from it.
The building offers a library, a student lounge, and well-equipped science laboratories (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Physics). Food services are provided to students by tenants on the ground floor, including Subway, Taco del Mar, and Bibi’s Kitchen.
Students can have lunch or take a refreshing break on the balcony overlooking Science World.
The support centre is available for students’ needs, such as peer tutoring, study support, and computer help.
Not only lending books but also substantial support is available for helping with students’ homework.

Across the street from the Main Campus is the North Campus. Students have access to the Skytrain, Olympic Village, and False Creek seawall within minutes.
