Fanshawe College Summer Program – THE SUMMER ESL + CAREER EXPLORATION

Many students take advantage of the long summer vacation to think about their careers and acquire skills.

Through Fanshawe College’s summer program, you can learn English and Canadian culture and understand the career paths available. In various exciting and promising fields of study, Fanshawe College offers a wide range of diploma, advanced diploma, and degree options for you to choose from. As well as providing bachelor’s degrees at Canadian universities such as Western University, the University of Toronto, and the University of Ottawa, Fanshawe College also offers several pathways to other post-secondary education.

1: English as a Second Language (ESL)

ESL is provided by Fanshawe College’s English Language Institute, which Language Canada fully accredits. During the program, students can improve their English skills while balancing reading, writing, speaking and listening. Additionally, students will have the chance to meet friends from around the world. The course includes 15 hours of weekly ESL instructions.

2: Canadian culture

The majestic nature of Canada takes many people by surprise. Enjoy afternoon activities and weekend excursions to Canada’s most famous destinations, including Toronto and Niagara Falls to experience Canada’s culture. Discover some of Canada’s Great Lakes Canadian wildlife firsthand.

3: Explore your career options

This program at Fanshawe College and its partners will provide students with future possibilities with first-hand perspectives on the variety of industries and careers available. Students can attend tours, lectures and demonstrations by industry professionals.

THE SUMMER ESL + CAREER EXPLORATION details:

The Summer ESL + Career Exploration Program is designed as a three-week program.

Option 1: June 18 – July 9, 2023
Option 2: July 16 – August 6, 2023

Age Requirement

14 – 17 years old

Accommodation selections and prices

3-week program, with residence $4,400.00
3-week program, with homestay $3,850.00

The program fee includes below:

ESL coursework (3 weeks) / course materials /afternoon activities and trips/weekend excursions / Residence or homestay/ 3 meals per day/bus tickets for the City of London /health insurance/round trip airport transfer /custodianship services
