Career Fair at the Terrace Campus

Once students complete programs in the few weeks they study, they will be preparing to enter the workforce and setting themselves up for their future. Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching, Tracy Woodburn, wants to create an opportunity to support community businesses, connecting them with job seekers who are qualified for the work, while providing students with the chance to learn valuable skills. This career fair took place at the CMTN Terrace Campus on Thursday, March 16th from noon to 3 pm. Overall, both groups end up in a win-win situation! They believe a lot of good can come out of this.

  1. New graduates bring value to employers
  2. Speaking professionally and connecting with employers are important for success in any field
  3. Pending positive feedback from the students and community

With all the advantages and positives given, CMNT plans on replicating this model in the future, not only in the Terrace campus, but at the Smithers, Prince Rubert, and Hazelton campuses!
