Now that the weather is beginning to get warmer and the sunshine is beginning to come out more, it’s time to go outside and do some sports to make up for the lack of sun from the winter season. Not only is golf a great way to get that sunshine that provides you with vitamin D but it is also considered to be a challenging sport that encourages you to gain valuable skills!

Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler golf course was carefully designed to blend in with the rugged terrain, including ravines, creeks, and waterfalls, resulting in more than 400 feet of dramatic elevation changes. The course features generous fairways and strategically placed deep bunkers and is flanked by a large pond on the left and granite cliffs on the right. Additionally, the course is home to a wide variety of wildlife such as deer, black bears, and indigenous birds, and is dotted with Douglas firs and exposed granite rock outcroppings.

Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course

Located within the Jasper National Park in the Rocky Mountains of Canada, the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Club boasts breathtaking scenery and magnificent views. The Rundle/Sulphur golf course, which is the original layout of the club, winds its way along the Bow River, surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Rundle and Sulphur Mountain. The course’s designer, Stanley Thompson, incorporated challenging fairway bunkers with steep and flashy faces, while amateurs and professionals get to enjoy its beautiful layout.

Tobiano Golf Course 

The Tobiano Golf Course stretches over 1,000 acres of rough terrain in the interior of British Columbia, situated on the historic Six Mile Ranch site, which gives golfers a distinctive experience owing to its setting and history. It is B.C.’s top-ranked public golf course and the sixth-best public course in Canada. Thomas McBroom’s design was influenced by the stunning natural environment, including gorgeous vistas of lakes and mountains extending in all directions.
