About the Project Management & Co-op Diploma
The 2-year-long Project Management & Co-op Diploma program at Canadian College is designed to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and practical experience to excel in the field of project management. Upon graduation, students will receive a Canadian College Project Management Diploma and are expected to tackle exams to receive Project Management Institute’s (PMI) PMP Certification (minimum 3 years of related work experience) or the CAPM certification (no experience necessary).
Co-op Placement
Through the co-op placement (1000 hours), students have the opportunity to work in a professional setting, applying their project management skills to real-world projects. This invaluable experience allows students to gain insights into industry practices, build their professional networks, and enhance their employability upon graduation.
The program will begin with two semesters of coursework and learning, providing students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their first six months of Co-op. After completing their first placement, students will return to Canadian College for an additional semester, then enter their next six-month long Co-op term. Students will finish off the program with a final semester, which focuses on preparing them to enter the workforce.
