Curious about BCIT? Get Started with Big Info!

With a 98% employment rate and over 300+ programs to choose from, it’s no surprise that BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) is a popular choice among students who are looking to join practical programs and diversify their skill sets. If you’re one of these students, keep your eyes and ears open for Big Info, BCIT’s largest program event and information session!

About Big Info

Every year, the Big Info event at BCIT presents an opportunity for students to explore all of the school’s current program offerings. Areas of studies include Applied and Natural Sciences, Business and Media, Computing & Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, and Trades & Apprenticeships, and students can interact with faculty members, current students and industry professionals to learn more about each program’s curriculum, career opportunities, and potential pathways for further education or employment.

In-person registration

This year, Big Info will be held in-person on Wednesday, February 21 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Burnaby campus location. Register here to attend the event in-person.

Online registration

An online session will also be offered on Wednesday, February 28 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., and will include information from Program Advising, Student Services, Indigenous Initiatives, and International Recruitment Services.

The schedule is as follows:

  • 4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m: BCIT 101 Program Advising
  • 4:55 p.m. – 5:25 p.m: International Recruitment and Services
  • 5:35 p.m. – 6:15 p.m: Student Success
