What is PTE Core?
The Canadian government (IRCC) has approved PTE Core, a quicker and more equitable English language test, for applications for permanent residency in all economic classes, as well as for Canadian citizenship. To learn more information about PTE Core click here.
The computer-based Pearson Test of English (PTE Core) evaluates your total speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills in a single assessment of English proficiency. Results are available in about two days. The exam is given in a friendly, compact test centre environment, usually in only two hours.
