What is Coquitlam College’s One-Year Pathway Program? 

Coquitlam College offers one-year pathway programs in arts, business, and science that provide a solid foundation in your chosen field of study. 

This transfer pathway enables students to begin their second year at a university in British Columbia (other province university requirements may vary). Students who wish to attend a university outside of BC must meet with Coquitlam College’s academic advisors to discuss their requirements. Students enrolled in this program must complete a maximum of 30-31 credits. 

One Year Pathway Options: Arts, Science, Business 

Arts Pathway (General Studies) 

Students can enroll in the arts pathway program, which provides them with 30 university transfer credits in one year. Students gain a comprehensive education in the humanities and social sciences.

Science Pathway 

Students can also enroll in the science pathway which offers a comprehensive introduction to first-year science, tailored for those planning to pursue further studies in science or engineering at any university in British Columbia. Requirements vary based on the student’s intended major.

Business Pathway 

Students can enroll in the business pathway which provides them with 30 university transfer credits, and a foundational coursework to complete a university degree in business.

What is Coquitlam College’s Two-Year University Transfer Pathway Program? 

Coquitlam College also offers two-year university transfer pathway programs. These programs are offered in Business and Arts. This two-year pathway program allows students to enter straight into their third year at a university in British Columbia (not all programs). All two-year pathway programs have a credit completion requirement of maximum 60-61. 

Two-Year Pathway Options: Arts, Business 

Arts Program

Students can enroll in the two-year arts program which provides them with a comprehensive education in humanities and the social sciences. Students may also choose a general studies pathway or choose a specialty in math or economics.
