Starting in Fall 2025, VCC’s Graphic Design Diploma will be even more accessible to students. The program will no longer require portfolio reviews or interviews for admission, making it easier for aspiring designers to enroll.
✅ Conditional admission is now available for pathway applicants, including:
- ILAC PW 3.2
- ILSC A2
These changes open doors for international students who may not have had the chance to showcase their skills through a traditional portfolio process. The Graphic Design Diploma is a PGWP-eligible program, allowing graduates to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit and gain valuable work experience in Canada. 🇨🇦
🛠️ Engineering Certificate – Assured Admission to SFU!
For students interested in engineering, VCC has fantastic news! The First-Year University Certificate in Engineering now offers an assured admission pathway to Simon Fraser University (SFU). 🎓
📌 International students who complete the VCC program within 16 weeks and achieve a 3.0 GPA will have a guaranteed opportunity to apply for one of 10 available admission spots per year in SFU’s School of Engineering Science.
Even beyond SFU, VCC’s courses are fully transferable to other universities across British Columbia, allowing students to pursue further education on a competitive basis. 🔗
